Dining Room Manager

Country Club of Missouri is looking for a professional, dynamic, and energetic employee to join our Food & Beverage team. The ideal candidate will have a commitment to phenomenal service and presentation and a drive to exceed Member and guests' expectations. 

The qualified candidate will have previous experience in an upscale setting. Previous experience includes proper service etiquette and knowledge of alcoholic beverage service. This is a positive, educational & team-oriented environment with great benefits available for employees. 

The Dining Room Manager position will oversee dining room operations, scheduling, inventory, staff hiring and training along with other duties as assigned. Must have impeccable customer service and organizational skills and a desire to provide the best private club experience to our Members. Responsibilities and qualifications include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Uphold the highest level of service for our Members and their guests
• Maintain a friendly and open attitude for all Members and staff alike
• Must have some daytime and evening availability and be available to work most weekends and holidays
• Must be able to effectively multi-task, work in a fast-paced environment, keep organized, and work under pressure
• Maintains "Sense of Urgency" when on and off the floor
• Works as a "Team" with both Banquet and Dining Room staff, to anticipate and go above and beyond for our Members.
• Have detailed knowledge of our food and beverage menus
• At least 2 years’ management experience
• Experience using and maintaining POS system and Office software
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time

Lifeguard

Job Requirements:

Must have current Lifeguard certification from the American Red Cross.

Enforce all rules, regulations, and safety practices.

Practice and maintain lifesaving skills

Greet all Members and guests in a friendly, professional manner.

Perform appropriate first aid and prepare reports for all incidents.

Clean and sanitize the facility throughout shifts.

Our pool is open Memorial Day weekend - Labor Day, 7 days a week from 8:00am - 9:00pm.

We offer a flexible schedule, but our staff must be available during Labor Day.

If you are not able to meet these scheduling requirements, please contact us about being a substitute guard.

Pay Range $9 - $10/hour + the chance to earn more by providing private swim lessons

Sous Chef

We currently have an opening for an ambitious, passionate, and energetic Sous Chef to bring their ideas and experience to our fast-paced kitchen.  The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and have a commitment to phenomenal banquet service and presentation.  We have a fun, family-oriented atmosphere and offer a competitive benefits package that includes free meals, golf privileges, vacation and sick time, company-match 401(k), and medical and dental insurance.

As an integral part of the F&B team, the Sous Chef will be accountable for the overall success of the banquet kitchen operations.  They will exhibit their culinary talents while leading and managing the banquet kitchen staff during all banquet food-related functions, ensuring a consistent high-quality product is produced.  The qualified candidate will also showcase their creativity by creating banquet menus that reflect current food trends and regional tastes.  This position will work to continually improve member and guest satisfaction while maintaining the operating budget.  Along with being responsible for guiding and developing banquet kitchen staff in high-end food production technique, this individual must ensure the highest level of sanitation and food standards are achieved.

Under the general direction of the Clubhouse Manager, the Sous Chef will be responsible for the following:

· Assist in daily management and supervision of the banquet culinary team, including food preparation, technical cooking, and plating skills

· Ability to be creative with food preparation, set-up, and displays

· Managing banquet culinary personnel to execute recipes, banquet menus, production standards, cooking processes, methods, and procedures

· Assists with financial and budgetary targets

· Responsible for accurate ordering, appropriate product selection, and inventory management

· Effective communication skills to converse with chef, sous chef, cooks, servers, and support staff

Full Time Bartender

Golf Course Maintenance

Country Club of Missouri is looking for a motivated individual to join our team! We currently have an opening for a dependable, energetic, and experienced Golf Course Maintenance crew member to assist our grounds team at our active Club. We're looking for someone who exhibits teamwork and a can-do attitude.  The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and have a commitment to maintaining our golf course. We have a fun, family-oriented atmosphere and offer free meals and golf privileges.

Assist with course set up, daily maintenance, mowing, general landscape maintenance and projects associated with the golf course.

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Must be able to lift and carry landscape materials and equipment up to 50 lbs.

Must be able and willing to work outside during periods of inclement weather and extreme heat.

Must be able to lift, bend, climb, stoop and pull frequently.

Equipment experience is helpful but not required.

This is a seasonal position. Hours may vary due to weather, etc. with up to 40+ during spring and summer. We have openings for employees who can work March through at least November.

 

Food Expeditor & Banquet Setup

Country Club of Missouri is looking for bright, energetic individuals who like working in a professional setting and would like to utilize their hospitality experience.  The Food Expeditor & Banquet Setup position will ensure high quality and proper presentation of food in a timely manner.  The hours are Tuesday-Saturday 4:00 PM-close and some holidays and major events. 

Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

Serve as a liaison between the cooks, waiters, and customers
Work closely with the food runner
Have detailed knowledge of our menus
Ensure that the food orders are cooked and sent out in a timely manner
Check dishes before delivery for accuracy, presentation, temperature, and overall quality
Keep front kitchen line stocked, clean, and sanitized
Will also be responsible for setting up banquets in downtime

Requirements:

Previous experience as a food expeditor or other restaurant experience is preferred
Strong communication skills are required
Must be able to effectively multi-task, work in a fast-paced environment, keep organized, and work under pressure
Must have a customer-oriented approach
Must be able to carry and lift up to 35 lbs.
Must be able to read menu items
Must have the ability to stand and move for 6-8 hours if needed

Food Runner & Banquet Setup

Country Club of Missouri is looking for bright, energetic individuals who like working in a professional setting and would like to utilize their hospitality experience.  The Food Runner & Banquet Setup position will assist servers during peak hours, performing any tasks necessary to ensure a high-quality dining experience to our members and guests.  The hours are Tuesday-Saturday 4:00 PM-close and some holidays and major events. 

Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

Coordinate food orders and correctly serve food to guests
Ensure that the guests are happy with their meals and get them anything else that they may need
Serve as a liaison between the expediter, waiters, and customers

Country Club of Missouri is seeking experienced servers and bartenders to staff our dining room and banquet facility. We are looking for bright, energetic individuals who like working in a professional setting and would like to utilize their hospitality experience.  

Daily duties include serving our dining room, setting up and serving events.

Requirements:
Must have some daytime availability
Must be available to work most weekends and holidays
Must be able to multi-task
Excellent customer service skills
Previous serving experience preferred, but not required
Must be able to lift 15 pounds

 

Dishwasher

Part Time Dishwasher and general cleaning position.  No experience necessary. Days, evenings, and weekend availability.

 

Line Cook - Full Time & Part Time Positions

 Job Summary:
Prepares items required for work station according to par sheets or instructions from chef. Prepares products assigned to his/her work station during service.

Job Responsibilities:
1. Prepares meats, seafood, vegetables and other items required for line and special function purposes.
2. Carefully follows standard recipes when preparing all items.
3. Uses food preparation equipment according to manufacturers' instructions.
4. Cleans work station and equipment during shift. (Clean as you go.)
5. Returns unused food products to proper storage areas.
6. Assists with preparation of other food products on serving line as needed.
7. Consistently uses safe and sanitary food handling procedures.
8. Returns soiled food preparation utensils and other smallware items to the proper areas.
9. Performs other duties as requested by the chef.
10. Prepares employee meals.

Must be able to:
Stand and walk continuously
Push, pull, lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently
Stoop, bend and kneel occasionally
Reach overhead occasionally
