Food & Beverage Manager - Full Time

Country Club of Missouri is seeking candidates for a full-time Food & Beverage Manager to join our team.  Responsibilities will include overseeing dining room and banquet event operations, scheduling, inventory, staff hiring and training along with other duties as assigned.  Must have impeccable customer service and organizational skills and a desire to provide the best private club experience to our Members. 

Requirements:

At least 2 years management experience
Experience with using and maintaining P.O.S. System, Excel, MS Word
Desire to work in the hospitality industry and provide superior service
Upbeat, positive attitude
Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time
Able to lift/move 50 lbs

Line Cook - Full Time & Part Time

Job Summary:
Prepares items required for work station according to par sheets or instructions from chef. Prepares products assigned to his/her work station during service.

Job Responsibilities:
1. Prepares meats, seafood, vegetables and other items required for line and special function purposes.
2. Carefully follows standard recipes when preparing all items.
3. Uses food preparation equipment according to manufacturers' instructions.
4. Cleans work station and equipment during shift. (Clean as you go.)
5. Returns unused food products to proper storage areas.
6. Assists with preparation of other food products on serving line as needed.
7. Consistently uses safe and sanitary food handling procedures.
8. Returns soiled food preparation utensils and other smallware items to the proper areas.
9. Performs other duties as requested by the chef.
10. Prepares employee meals.

Must be able to:
Stand and walk continuously
Push, pull, lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently
Stoop, bend and kneel occasionally
Reach overhead occasionally

Dishwasher

Part Time Dishwasher and general cleaning position.  No experience necessary.

 

Service Staff

We are seeking experienced servers to staff our dining room, banquet facility and pool snack bar.  We are looking for bright, energetic individuals.  We offer a flexible schedule.  Serving experience is helpful but not required.  Must be available to work some holidays.   

 

Assistant Pool Manager

Supervise daily operations of the Pool facility including lifeguards, swim team, swim lessons, activities, chemicals, and cleaning.
Great customer service and interpersonal skills are a must. 
Ensure that all rules, regulations, and safety practices are properly enforced. 
Ensure all Members and guests receive appropriate first aid and prepare reports for all incidents. 
Ensure all Members and guests are greeted in a friendly, professional manner. 
Ensure a clean and healthy environment through cleaning and sanitation. 
Ensure the Pool chemicals are balanced and the facilities exceed the Health Department requirements

Must be available Memorial Day – Labor Day with additional time needed for planning and preparation for opening and closing.  Weekends, evenings and holidays are required.
Must have current Lifeguarding certification from Red Cross (preferably Lifeguard Instructor).
Must have management experience and lifeguarding experience.
This will be an intensive summer position, a great opportunity for an internship for the right student. 
Pay range $10 - $12/hour      Will work at least 5 x 5 hour shifts/week (more hours if possible)

 

Assistant Swim Team Coach

Responsible for assisting with the summer Rec League Swim Team for 5-12 year olds. 
Focus on stroke development, increasing speed and love of swimming.
Must be available mid-May – mid-July.  Additional availability is a plus. 
Must have current Lifeguard certification from Red Cross. 
Must have prior swim team, swim team coaching, or swimming lesson experience. 
Pay Range $8 - $10/hour

 

Lifeguards

Must have current Lifeguard certification from Red Cross (by Memorial Day weekend). 
Enforce all rules, regulations, and safety practices. 
Perform appropriate first aid and prepare reports for all incidents. 
Greet all Members and guests in a friendly, professional manner. 
Clean and sanitize the facility throughout shifts. 
Our pool is open Memorial Day weekend – Labor Day, 7 days a week from 11:00am – 8:00pm.
We offer a flexible schedule, but must be available at least 2 of the 3 holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day and Labor Day). 
If you are not able to meet these scheduling requirements, please contact us about being a substitute guard.
Pay Range $8 - $10/hr
