Junior Golf
The CCMO Junior Golf Program has something for juniors of all ability levels, ages 5 - 16. All Member children may participate in Junior Golf, even if you have a Bath & Tennis or Social membership. Our traditional Tuesday morning group meets for nine weeks in June and July. We devide each session into three groups at various stations including putting, chipping, and full swing. We also allow limited on course play each week. We will travel to Perche Creek and play their Par 3 course. We also play putt-putt and hit range balls.
Entry forms must be completed and turned into the Golf Pro Shop.
Tuesday morning sessions include putting, chipping and full swing as well as limited course play.
Please have your children at the Club a few minutes before the scheduled time so that the lessons will begin smoothly.
Beginning Juniors: Ages 5-9, meet Tuesdays from 9:45 a.m. – 11:00 p.m.
A parent, adult babysitter or grandparent must accompany children age 5-6. Juniors ages 5 –9 that wish to play on the course afterwards may require a minimum of two adults present to supervise.
Intermediate Juniors: Ages 10-16, meet Tuesdays from 7:45 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.
*These times are for lessons only. If you child plays afterwards, they will finish later than the time listed.
Our parent-child tournaments have been a huge success the last few years. This year we will have events in June, July and August. We play formats that include alternate shot, best ball and scramble. If you would like more information about these events, please call the golf shop at 442-1310.
The cornerstone of our Tuesday morning program continues to be parental support. Without the help of parents we would not be able to travel to Perche Creek or provide adequate supervision to allow our juniors the privilege to play on the course after a lesson. If you would be willing to volunteer your time to help with junior golf, please contact the golf shop at 442-1310.
